First Leadership Position in the Troop

Den Chief Training will give young Boy Scouts the confidence and leadership experience to participate in a patrol. More importantly, the Den Chief is a huge help to Den Leaders at the Pack. This is a morning class from 9am to noon. Bring a notepad and pencil.

Boy Scouts can be valuable resources for Cub Scout dens. By completing this training, a Boy Scout will be eligible to take on the role of den chief with a Cub Scout or Webelos den with time served applying toward leader-ship requirements for rank advancement.  This course is for Boy Scouts 1st Class and above.

Costs:  $5

Is your Unit going to Philmont? Tres Ritos or other High adventure camp?

This course consists of two evenings plus a one weekend camping program designed to teach vital skills for high adventure bound leaders and seasoned scouts. It's ideal for troops and crews planning and preparing a high adventure trek to Philmont or anywhere else. All hands-on.

Taught by seasoned, experienced Scouters Steve and Theresa Kaualoku. They want to share with you their tribal knowledge!

April 21-22, 2018 @ Camp Wisdom

"Fun with a Purpose" is what will happen when your 12 and over First Class youth attends this two-day course. First Class Scouts will learn through DOING tasks utilizing the EDGE method and experiencing the stages of group development. This course is taught by older Boy Scouts.

Oak Leaf is the first step toward BSA's National youth Leadership (NYLT) course and National Advanced Youth Leadership (NAYLE) training.
