COPE Facilitator Training

COPE Facilitator Training

COPE Training is a process that starts with a weekend at the Roy & Frances Rea COPE Center at Camp Trevor Rees-Jones.

Training will be provided on COPE Purpose, Standards and methods, and both low course and high course elements. The program includes actual participation in the elements as well as a hands-on training experience (have fun like your Scouts for a couple of days).

Oak Leaf Training is for any young scout who has earned their 1st Class rank. This training will help you understand the patrol method and ensure scout skills for success. As the first leadership training course for scout, it is a pre-requisite for National Youth Leadership Training which teaches leadership and team building skills to be a successful Patrol Leader.

Is your Unit going to Philmont? Tres Ritos or other High adventure camp?

This course consists of two evenings plus a one weekend camping program designed to teach vital skills for high adventure bound leaders and seasoned scouts. It's ideal for troops and crews planning and preparing a high adventure trek to Philmont or anywhere else. All hands-on.

Taught by seasoned, experienced Scouters Steve and Theresa Kaualoku. They want to share with you their tribal knowledge!

Spring Oak Leaf Training

April 20-21, 2019 @ Camp Wisdom

"Fun with a Purpose" is what will happen when your 12 and over First Class youth attends this two-day course. First Class Scouts will learn through DOING tasks utilizing the EDGE method and experiencing the stages of group development. This course is taught by older Boy Scouts.

Oak Leaf is the first step toward BSA's National youth Leadership (NYLT) course and National Advanced Youth Leadership (NAYLE) training.

The course begins Saturday morning, April 20th with check-in starting at 7:30 AM.

Ends Sunday morning, April 21st at 11:30 am.

Graduation beings at 10:30 am Sunday morning - Parents encouraged to attend!

Fee $35.00 per scout; please register on Circle Ten's CampMaster.
